Who is Anna Garcia?
A playful, vivacious and inspirational facilitator/ relationship specialist committed to guiding individuals through their journey of self-discovery back to love & peace post painful relationships & events.
She is the founder of discoverME, the confidence-building programme series that has changed the lives of hundreds of families in London through its transformational work with schools and children’s centres.
Grounded in the belief that each parent is a CEO (Chief Energy Officer) in their family, Anna has dedicated nearly 10 years to working with parents to build their self-esteem, self-belief and effectiveness. Her work enables individuals to develop their self-awareness and communication skills and to rediscover their personal power and ability to recognise the difference they make in the world. As a consequence, discoverME graduates experience an increased level of happiness, and sense of self-worth and belonging, which inevitably then extends to their families and the communities of which they are a part.
Born in the UK and of Latin American descent, Anna returned from Colombia to live in London at the age of 15, without her parents, to pursue her studies. After almost a decade of personal challenges, including homelessness, unemployment, domestic violence, bereavement and divorce, she completed a master’s degree in occupational psychology. All this, before she began her training career as a facilitator for the unemployed at the age of 24. Subsequently, having set up numerous, committed training teams, and designed and delivered programmes for training organisations within the training-for-employability sector across areas of London, she became an independent practitioner and generated her own organisation, Garcia Inspired Training Ltd, in 2007; this is now the home of discoverME.
